Imagery Acquisition
The Imagery Subcommittee works on the acquisition of highly resolved and highly accurate imagery for the Central Coast Region. The subcommittee seeks input from the CCJDC on imagery needs of all kinds, conducts research into imagery technology, develops requirements, solicits membership participation in imagery projects, makes presentations to both solicit participation and to demonstrate project results, oversees the selection of imagery vendors in cooperation with AMBAG, monitors the work of the vendor(s) selected, performs Quality Assurance/Quality Control functions on resulting imagery product, and recommends payment to the vendor by AMBAG at contractual intervals. The chair is appointed by the CCJDC Co-chairs and serves for a term of two years on a renewable basis. The chair must have the experience and interest in pursuing the goals of the sub-committee as stated above.
