Students will learn and apply the technical skills required to create dynamic web sites using on-line relational databases. Topics covered include HTML, cascading style sheets, creating dynamic web pages using scripting, creating databases using open source software and producing web sites that allow users to insert, delete and update records in a database. Along the way, students will learn the programming fundamentals of an open source scripting language.
After successfully completing this course, students will have the knowledge and skills to create a dynamic web site using an on-line database.
