1 meter imagery is available in natural color and color infra-red. This site is hosted by Cal Atlas and can be downloaded county by county.
NOTE: NAIP 2010 imagery will shortly be available on the Cal Atlas site. Stay tuned.
Metadata is
defined as "data about data". When you are considering
whether or not a particular data set meets your needs, you probably
consider a lot of factors. For example, you might want to know
- when the data were collected,
- who built the data set,
- what format it's in,
- how large the file is,
- how the data set was meant to be used and
- where you should go to see about using it.
All of these factors
make up metadata - the who, what, when, where and why of the data
world.
