DEM 24k Lattices
==================

Lattices were created in ArcInfo for each of the USGS 7.5 minute 
quad for which a DEM was available.  These have all been projected 
into UTM zone 10, NAD 83.

The lattices are made available for those who wish to do their own
processing in ArcInf or to take advantage of the new Spatial Analyst
extension in ArcView 3.0.

More than one lattice may be contained in each directory.
The directory name indicates the lattices it contains, by quad name.
For example, latab should contain all lattices for the quads
with names beginning in A through B.

Lattices are stored in a directory structure and are ArcInfo coverages.
As such they must be used and moved in a way that maintains the directory
structure.

The lattices can be viewed only (but not manipulated) in ArcView 2.x
if you add them as "Image Data Source" themes.
