Map Contest & Calendar

Calendar: 2006 - 2005 - 2004 - 2003 - 2002

The annual CCJDC GIS Mapping Contest provides a fun opportunity for local public and private agency representatives and GIS students to showcase their creative talents in presenting geographic information. Maps are judged on content, creativity, cartographic design as well as, technical difficulty of the GIS analysis presented. Prizes are awarded to several of the top-ranked submissions. Map contest entries are also displayed in the Map Gallery of the CCJDC-sponsored GIS Day. Winning entries that conform to specific production guidelines are included in the CCJDC calendar of the upcoming year, which is then distributed to signatories to the CCJDC MOU and the local GIS community.
